Washington Mexico City, September 14 .- President Barack Obama on Monday signed an order extending by one year the law used to impose the trade embargo against Cuba, despite calls to let her expire as a way to ease the sanctions. "The president is determined that U.S. national interest to continue for another year the exercise of certain authorities under the Trade Act with respect to Cuba the enemy," said the White House. Obama announced in April that would ease trade restrictions, imposed on Cuba for almost half a century after the revolution of Fidel Castro.
