Demographics In Demographics In the 2000 census, there were 20.318 people, 6.823 households and 5.690 families residing in the city. The population density was 906.9 per sq km. There were 6.989 residential units at an average density of 312/km . The racial mix of the city was 74.53 White, 0.36 black or African American, 0.18 Native American, 20.57 Asian, 0.04 Pacific Islander, 1.01 from other races , and 3.31 from two or more races. 4.80 of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 93.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and older there were 90.5 males. The median income for a household in the city was 109,989 and for a family was 122,779. Males had a median income of 92,760 against 57,321 for women. The per capita income of the city was 52,838. About 3.6 of families and 4.3 of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.8 whose age was under 18 and 5.1 were 65 or older.
